Not necessarily great for the rest of us who have to move up to Spending $ 3250 from $ 3000 annually

For the record …
$ 1000 Back represents a $ 50,000 Spend
And,
$ 1250 Back represents a $ 62,500 Spend

I rmb it was the ultimate hack back in the day to be able to shop at costco without a membership via their website.

Then the pandemic hit and they cut that loophole off... and later partnered with instacart but with inflated pricing.

But now i just placed an order on costco.ca without a membership... it even said on the screen where it verifies your membership that a membership is not needed to shop on costco.ca.

But the thing i bought specifically said membership required. yet I was able to place order without a membership...

This would be highly unfair to paying members, especially with the membership price increase.

it's a conscious choice members make to pay the membership fee.

there are other ways to shop at costco without paying the membership fee at all.

So they SHUT IT DOWN

I’m more prone to think it was a Computer Glitch / Admin Error

Membership benefits are more for in store experience. You can argue online price is higher than in store’s is highly unfair to paying members

If I could get everything delivered at the store cost, I'd buy everything from Costco. I don't enjoy the apocalypse shopping behaviour of some of their customers detracting from the "in store experience" which is a visual marketing strategy to increase sales of non-essentials.

A CIBC credit card rep actually told me this over the phone.

I bought an AC last week and wanted to use my new CIBC biz costco MC but there was an issue with the card (PIN) so I couldn't use it.

I paid with a different card instead.

CIBC rep told me she knew somebody who simply brought the costco receipt [without bringing the item (in my case the AC)] to costco to do a refund and a rebuy with a different credit card (in my case with CIBC biz costco MC since PIN issue is fixed).

Yes, it can be done. Did it myself today. It's a different counter than the refund counter that does it. Few extra steps/paperwork though. Have to pay first and then get refund.

Quick favour if anyone is at Costco today, looking to get a sense of reasonable expiry date on the crema cilantro lime dressing?

Ordered via same day and the expiry is next week which seems rather short to me but wanted to double check before submitting a request for refund. Other deli items all expire in August or September which seems much more reasonable

I remember looking at it in store a few weeks ago and the expiration date was only a month away. They had a sample of it in store (on a small piece of chicken breast) and it was tasty, but I didn't buy it because there was no way I could finish it all so quickly.
